Free Virtual Birthing Classes During 2020 Pandemic

Coronavirus has thwarted the plans of pregnant moms worldwide. Baby showers, gender reveals, labor and delivery plans have all been changed at the drop of a dime. With COVID19 wreaking havoc on the expectation of pregnant mothers across the world this class aims to help minimize their anxiety.
Doulas of Marquette is offering free online childbirth classes thanks to a grant from the COVID!9 Community response fund. During the class, families can stay up tp date on the newest COVID!( information as it relates to child birth. Participants will also receive a monthly newsletter with additional tips and research.
Melinda Brittion, Doulas of Marquette, states, “It’s so crucial for people to understand what is going on not only in the world and research, but what’s going to be happening to their bodies during labor or during birth or event in the postpartum times.
Topics covered include: Mindfulness Tools, Tops Ways to Prepare for Birth and Postpartum, Current Research on COVID-19, Hospital Policies, and Q &A.
